NRP Travel Grant Applications Due Fri., Sept 11

Are you presenting a paper at the 2026 Society for Neuroscience meeting in Washington DC, November 14th-18th? Nu Rho Psi members may apply for a Nu Rho Psi-sponsored travel award.

Award recipients can receive up to $1500 to offset travel costs associated with attending the conference. Priority will be given to two members from each region. Checks will be distributed after SfN, pending the National Office receiving receipts. 

To apply, you will provide:

• Name, NRP Chapter, and Region
• A Personal Statement discussing how attending SfN will benefit you (500 word max)
• Documentation showing your Abstract has been submitted for presentation at SfN 2026
• A letter from your Research Advisor supporting your application for a travel grant. The advisor should comment on other potential sources of funding.
• A spreadsheet of estimated travel expenses (airfare/hotel/etc and mileage if driving) and supporting documentation
