Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity: Nu Rho Psi endorses and supports the policies of the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience and the Society for Neuroscience.
Use of Nu Rho Psi insignia: To prevent the unauthorized manufacture, sale, or use of the Nu Rho Psi insignia (Copyright, Nu Rho Psi, 2006) it shall only be reproduced by members and chapters with the approval of the National Council. The manufacture and sale of items bearing the insignia will occur primarily through the National Office and will aim to preserve and protect the design and insure high quality materials and workmanship.
Waiver of Nu Rho Psi Induction fee: Rarely but occasionally Nu Rho Psi receives a request to waive the induction fee for a student who is well qualified but does not have the financial resources to pay it. It is not Nu Rho Psi’s policy to waive induction fees because the national office has no way to determine the credibility of these requests. We will encourage students making such requests to ask their respective Neuroscience departments/programs to cover their induction fees if they are unable to pay. Presumably, faculty who know the student making the waiver request, will be in a better position to evaluate the student’s need. However, if a student’s Department/Program will not assist them in spite of a verified need, then fee waivers are to be decided by the Executive Director on a case-by-case basis.
