DESCRIPTION:SYNAPSE (Symposium for Young Neuroscientists And Professors of the SouthEast) is a regional symposium for undergraduate students doing neuroscience research. The goals of the symposium are to provide students with an avenue to present their scientific endeavors and an opportunity to network with like-minded peers. In addition to this\, we aim to present students with professional development opportunities that will help them advance towards an advanced degree and/or career in the field of neuroscience. \nPreliminary Schedule:\n9:00am Check-in\n9:30am Lightning talks\n10:45am Keynote address by Leon Coleman\, MD PhD\n11:45am Concurrent sessions\n12:45pm Lunch\n2:00pm Poster session\n3:30pm Closing remarks \nRegistration Fee: $35 for undergraduate students and $50 for faculty\, postdocs or graduate students. \nRegistration and abstract submission must be completed by Friday\, March 27 \nFor more information\, visit the SYNAPSE website: https://synapse.charleston.edu/

DESCRIPTION:The Nu Rho Psi Chapter of the Year Award recognizes the accomplishments of a Nu Rho Psi chapter for excellence in carrying out the mission of Nu Rho Psi on the local\, regional and/or national level during the 2025-26 academic year. The award recipient will be recognized at the 2026 Nu Rho Psi National Meeting and at the Annual SFN Meeting.  Profiles of the winning program will be featured on the Nu Rho Psi website and disseminated to the global neuroscience community as a means of sharing successful practices in fostering neuroscience research\, professional development\, neuroscience education\, and community service.
