SUMMARY:Nu Rho Psi Annual Member Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Nu Rho Psi Annual Members Meeting will be taking place on October 20\, 2024 from 1:30 PM EST – 3:00 PM EST. This will be a virtual event and will be open to all inducted members\, prospective members\, and those who are interested in learning more about the organization. \nThis is an opportunity to learn about the various resources and awards available to our members\, as well as provide the Executive Council feedback so we can better serve our membership. \nOur keynote speaker will be Dr. Eva Telzar\, professor and program director of Developmental Psychology in the Department of Neuroscience & Psychology at UNC – Chapel Hill\, and the co-director of the Winston National Center on Technology Use\, Brain\, and Psychological Development. Dr Telzer studies how social and cultural processes shape adolescent brain development\, with a focus on both prosocial and risk-taking behaviors\, family and peer relationships\, and the role of social media in youth’s lives.
